Find An Engineer By Location
To find a Gas Safe Registered engineer covering your post code area simply select the type of work that you need doing, Domestic or Commercial. This will allow you to see all of the Gas Safe Registered Engineers within a radius of your post code area. A simple Advance Search will then allow you to identify Gas Type you require (LPG or Mains Gas), appliance type or specific activity.
Gas Emergencies
The LPG gas stored in your gas tank will be stored in a safe vessel maintained and tested by your Bulk LPG Gas supplier. Leaks from LPG Bulk Gas Tanks are very rare but if you can smell gas in the vicinity of your LPG Gas tank please extinguish all possible sources of ignition within 7.5 meters of the suspected leak.
If you can smell gas in your property then turn off all possible sources of ignition within the property. Do not use lights or any other electrical equipment.
Turn off all gas appliances, where safe to do so.
If you can smell can within your property open all windows and doors to vent the property, allowing any gas to disperse freely and quickly.
Call the Emergency Number of you Gas Supplier, listed on the side of your LPG Gas Tank, on bills and other literature.
